March 15th, 2016 by

G-CLASSFrom crossovers and SUVs to sedans and vans, it seems as though the only vehicle model Mercedes-Benz hasn’t capitalized on yet is the pickup truck. According to the staff at Fortune, we might not have to wait too much longer until we see one in the Mercedes lineup.

“Mercedes-Benz is reportedly planning to debut its new pickup truck this year,” writes the staff at Fortune. “The vehicle is expected to be presented for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in October, according to Auto Express. It appears as if the German automaker is ahead of schedule—Fortune reported last year that Mercedes’ new pickup would be launched by 2020.”

While the pickup truck is currently without a name, it’s rumored to be called the “X-Class” and will be first available in Germany and the likes of the left-hand-driver market. Once further details emerge, we will keep you updated. Until now, it looks like we will have to wait until the Paris Motor Show for the grand reveal.
